checkout the website www.churchontherock.org.uk Mark has been a born again Christian for nearly 20 years ,and writing songs ever since he was surroutnded by an out of control fire blaze, an experience that has reassured him that his life has a purposeful meaning ,with a peace of mind that can`t be found in any other belief , than calling the name of Jesus Christ.

Mark will leading Worship at Church on the Rock , Prayer and Praise Evening at Passmore Institute ,Hayle on Tuesday 29th April at 7.30pm . on Sunday 4th May he will be leading Worship at Church on the Rock Sunday Service . New cd release !!!

The Worship band line up was Mark Grove and Andy Reid worship leaders , Di Burdil Vocals , David Worthington on Keyboards , Paul Rabbet on Harmonica , Nathan Billings Drums , Andrea Kitto on percussion and Matt Cheeseman on bass . The Minack Cornwall worship surpassed all expectations ! 1 mile away thunder lightning and floods , But a window from Heaven allowed 3 hours of Sunshine to allow a great afternoon of praise and worship to take place . Hundreds of people came to the event from all over Cornwall .

The number one Focus in Mark`s life is Running in the race of Salvation , we are all placed on this Earth to Worship the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe , to Praise his Holy Name Always ! What an honour we have , with marvellous rewards ahead of us .
Song writing as been on Mark`s heart for a number of years , inspired by Pete Nash a good friend and pastor of Parkside Church , Malvern in Worcestershire , he was encouraged to pick up his guitar , and start writing worship songs , and leading worship in various churches in the area . Mark recorded 8 tracks just before moving down to live in Cornwall , being introduced to worship leader Colin Owen ,who has a recording studio in Malvern "I've done quite a bit of work for Mark, arranging and recording his songs. He's a real blessing and you should check out his web site and see what he's all about".Colin Owen Mark was able to record songs he had written and performed with his former band Connexion. Mark recorded a further 8 tracks a year or so later hence the first c.d called Glory Days `was completed . samples of Mark`s songs can be heard on the internet site
Family Values Mark lives at Relubbus near Penzance in Cornwall , Married to Mandy for 13 years , they both have had many ups and downs in life , but the Lord always manages to restore ,and bless Always .
Mark`s Wife Mandy , Always a support to Mark in his Music Ministry , is Currently Studying for a degree in Social Care , she has a heart for younger people , and believes that her Youth ministry will develop along side Mark`s Ministry.

The restaurant Guinevere boasts a very high name for good food in this area of Cornwall , Carl is indeed a very talented Chef and up and coming painter .Mark worked for Carl for 3.5 years , helping to run the front of house operation there .
Paul , Mark`s middle brother lives in Indianapolis , in the States , he is married to Wendy , and has two sons Alex and Zac. . Since moving from Boston early this year the family, have started going to their local inter-denominational church , Paul i really excited by the Worship shared there ,
Mark`s Parents live about Half an hours drive from Mark , at a place called Praa Sands , D.J. has he is called a retired bank manager , and Sylvia is an ex- hairdresser they are just the best ! they never stop doing this ,and doing that , in between holidays ,playing golf and gardening , but hey they have worked hard for every thing they have got !
Mark`s Brother and sister in Law , Marc and Amanda live in Solihull ,West Midland they have 3 children Emily 7, James 5 and Charlotte 3. Marc and Amanda attend Shirley Baptist Church in the West Midlands .
From Fire to Faith Mark`s Testimony and the changing moment in his Life
About 18 years ago Mark had his own business in a place called Kingswinford , near Stourbridge . It was a hot summers day and very dry .one of the chores of running a fresh produce business was having to dispose of empty containers and boxes . The easiest option at the time was to set light to them,and have a bonfire . At this moment in time i lived in a flat above my shop , My Children were upstairs asleep , as they were very young .Within minutes of starting the fire , a problem occurred , the building caught ablaze , My first reaction was to rush into the shop to fetch a fire extinquisher to try and stop the fire .But it became out of control . quickly spreading .I shouted as loud for help , My Ex wife Karen was throwing buckets of water from above , as the fire was now spreading upwards .The telephone cables had all caught alight so there was no way to call the fire station . I was in a no way out situation , the smoke was filling the shop , i couldn`t find away out , unless i smashed the front window, i could feel my whole body being overcome with no air to breathe . It was at this point i managed to find a water supply , i ran the tap of cold water , and sprayed water all over my face to try and keep my consciousness ,and i was on my knees praying to God for a way out . he delivered the answer , i`m convinced he told me to find a place we called the cold room . a vacuum sealed room where we stored produce , so i quickly threw my self in there , just to breath a little air .it enabled me to recover a little while , by that time the water poured on the fire from outside , had stopped the fire. I opened the door and literally threw my self out of the back door of the building resulting in burns all over my arms .I know that my God really did his stuff here and i`ll never forget it!
